Das Internet bietet nicht nur dem Handel und der Freizeit viele Wege, sondern auch Newcomer in der Musik Szene.
Gerade die jüngeren und unerfahreneren Musiker haben es schwer bei den vielen grossen Künstlern hervorzustechen. Um dies zu schaffen müssen sie schon für reichlich Promotion gesorgt haben um einen kommerziellen Weg einzuschlagen und mit ihrer Musik richtig Geld zu verdienen.

Seid dem erscheinen von Musikportalen wie MusicLoad.de oder iTunes ist dies nun leichter für die jungen Künstler geworden.
Hier liegt ein entscheidender Vorteil, wenn man sich bei einem Vertrieb wie Dooload.de anmeldet.

Gegen einen monatlichen Entgelt ab gerade mal 2,99 Euro kann hier jeder kleine Musiker groß rauskommen.
Über den Vertrieb der Musik eines solchen Anbieters werden die Songs des Musikers weltweit bei bis zu 130 Musik Online Shops angeboten und das selbst ohne einen Plattenvertrag zu haben.

Ist der Musiker oder gar die Band im Besitz einer eigenen Homepage kann hierbei ein Player im Flash Format auf die Seite eingebunden werden und damit auch direkt auf der Homepage der Band / des Sängers der kaufen der Musik angeboten werden.

Eine revolutionäre Art des Musikverkaufs, was aber auch seine Schattenseiten hat. Es schadet die Plattenindustrie im direkten gewerblichen Bereich da die Inhaber von Musik Geschäften damit weniger Chancen haben ihre Ware an das Volk zu bringen da der Kunde seine Lieblingsstücke nun problemlos Online erwerben kann.
