Simple Plan
Simple Plan sind eine Alternative Rock Band aus Montreal, Kanada, die seit 1999 besteht. Das Lineup hat sich nicht verändert und umfasst Pierre Bouvier, David Desrosiers, Jeff Stinco, Chuck Comeau und Sébastien Lefebvre, die sich schon aus ihrer Kindheit kannten. Der Stil der Band orientiert sich an Pop Punk und Alternative Rock und ist in einer Vielzahl von Filmen, darunter Scooby Doo oder Freaky Friday, vertreten. Das erste Studioalbum „No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls“ wurde im Jahr 2002 veröffentlicht und konnte über zwei Millionen Mal verkauft werden. Der Nachfolger „Still Not Getting Any…“ von 2004 war ihr bisher erfolgreichstes Album und erhielt vierfach Platin. „Welcome To My Life“, ein Klassiker von Simple Plan, stammt von diesem Album.
